Neale Donald Walsch wrote Conversations with God as an open conversation with himself. I listened to the audio series, and I bought the books. The covers here are the set I keep: Book One, Book Two, Book Three, and Book Four.
I was able to do both in 2020, during the pandemic. I read the books, and I took Awaken the Species, his quest on Mindvalley. It was an uncertain time. The course and the books gave me hope, faith, and truth when I needed somewhere steady to stand.
What stayed after that year was the reflection. The conversations stay open, and I will read them again. The weeks of the quest kept returning to the same place. A life is not a search for a self you already have. It is a choice about who you will be, and that choice shows up in the people around you.
The idea I am keeping is one line. Your life is not about you. It is about everyone whose life you touch.
