We all carry regrets. The chance we didn't take, the words we didn't say, the love that didn't work out. Research shows that over time, it's the chances we missed that stay with us longest. But regret has a purpose. It's strongest where we can still change something, and it points us toward what matters most.
Many people come out of their hardest moments with a deeper sense of what they can handle. That doesn't happen automatically, though. The honey comes when we learn from the regret, act on what we still can, and lovingly let go of the rest.
And the golden bees were making white combs and sweet honey from my old failures.
Antonio Machado, translated by Robert Bly

This week was about learning to let go of fear and control in order to make space for growth and connection. It showed how holding too tightly to what we have or who we think we must be only limits our experience and well-being. By practicing openness, gratitude, and presence, we can welcome life’s flow and find more peace.
The days reminded us that softness and flexibility are strengths, allowing us to adapt and thrive rather than break under pressure. Even on difficult days, there is always something valuable to offer others, and giving of ourselves keeps our spirit alive. Life’s true meaning comes from investing time and heart in what truly matters, rather than clinging to what no longer serves us.
Ultimately, the week encouraged a gentle release of old protections and habits that once kept us safe but now hold us back. Trusting in our own resilience opens the door to new opportunities, relationships, and growth. When we loosen our grip, life has room to surprise us with its generosity and unexpected gifts.
