Truth Arrives in the Pause

Message to self I am calm, and clarity comes to me.

Note by Sanjeevan Premkumar ·

We're all hungry for truth: about who we are, what matters, and what to do next. So we go looking. We read more, plan more, move faster, as if the answer is just one more step ahead.

But truth rarely shows up at full speed. It comes in the pause: the quiet minute before the day starts, the breath between one task and the next, the walk with no destination. When we slow down, the noise settles and what was already there gets a chance to speak.

Today's lesson was simple. Stop searching for a moment. Sit still long enough to hear yourself. What you're hungry for may already be waiting for you to notice it.
